Datatag’s multi-layered electronic identification and anti-theft system enables the Police to identify the true owner of any Datatagged motorcycle, even if the number plate and standard identification numbers have been removed or changed.

Datatag has a fantastic success rate, and criminals are well aware that the CPS has never lost a court case in which Datatag has been used in evidence. As soon as thieves see the Datatag warning decals on your motorcycle they will usually leave it well alone and go looking for an easier target.

Accordion Panel

Comprises a unique code – permanently etched into the panels and fairings. They do not deface or interfere with the appearance or aesthetics of the Motorcycle because the etchings are visible under UV lighting.

Datadots®

A superior microdot identification system developed for ease of use. The Datadots can be applied to any surface, thus making it virtually impossible for the criminals to locate and remove them all.

Datatag Forensic DNA

A unique chemical DNA solution. Each piece of equipment is protected with an invisible and unique DNA code. Criminals will have to be confident they have removed every molecule of Datatag DNA.

This flexible transponder contains a unique code, permanently programmed into its’ integrated circuit, which cannot be altered or deleted and is impervious to either electronic or magnetic attack.

Transponder Glass Tag

This transponder is roughly the size of a grain of rice and can be easily installed. It contains a unique code number which is permanently programmed into its integrated circuit. The number cannot be altered or deleted.

Automatic Theft Protection

Datatool Stealth S5 is supplied with Rider ID tags that deliver a significant security enhancement on any other bike tracker.

As soon as the ignition is switched off, Stealth S5 creates an invisible geofence around your bike and starts monitoring for signs of unauthorised movement.

If the unit detects movement within the geo-fence the (optional) early warning movement text will be triggered, informing you of a potential theft event. If your bike is subsequently removed from the geofenced area without the Rider ID tags present, Stealth S5 will enter alert mode, notifying our 24/7/365 monitoring centre, who will in turn contact you immediately to verify the cause of the alert. If you confirm your bike is stolen, the monitoring team will liaise with the police to aid recovery.

Recognised by Insurers

We are a Thatcham S7 accredited tracking product. This means that our products have been independently tested by Thatcham, who are funded by the insurers and so our accredited product is recognised by the insurance industry and may attract a premium discount of between 5% -15%.

Installation

All authorized BikeTrac dealers are trained to ensure that your unit is installed in the most covert location possible, giving the best levels of protection and adhering to Thatcham’s high security standards – it’s essential.

Theft Response Team

In cooperation with Securitas, BikeTrac is able to offer a ‘Response Service’, in the event of Police being unable to attend a theft in good time. This nationwide service enables an SIA accredited operative to visit the location to secure the stolen machine.

GPS and RF Technology

GPS allows us to locate down to 3 – 5 meters in real time. RF (Radio Frequency) allows us to locate down to 1 meter if hidden in garages / containers also to gain search warrants.

Optional Alarm Input

An aftermarket alarm can be connected to the tracking device, if the alarm sounds Global Telemetrics Secure Control Centre will make contact to ensure the vehicle is safe. Please confirm with your installing company before installation.

Driver Recognition

A requirement of the S5 Thatcham criteria is that the device must be accompanied by a system which is used to verify the driver of the vehicle is an authorised user. With the Smartrack S5 and S5+ devices, driver recognition can be in the form of either the D-iD mobile app or a physical Driver Detection card.

Secure Online Account

This device includes a full online account which allows you to view both the current and historical locations and journeys of the vehicle. The online account also includes features such as geofences and access to data reports. The online account is paired with a mobile app, so you can access the vehicle’s location at any time.

Remote Immobilisation

Optional remote immobilisation feature can be installed to this tracking device. With this feature you are able to immobilise/mobilise your vehicle via a button through your online account or app Please confirm with your installing company before installation.

This kit includes two remote fobs pre-programmed to the alarm (including the ID’tag if chosen), the alarm is also programmed to be fully ‘awake’ for up to 360 hours (15 days), this means if you arm the alarm it will enter sleep mode after 20 days or if the battery falls below a set level. The alarm will also be preprogrammed to beep when arming & disarming via the fobs.
